Description

L-8466 is a specially modified UV polyurethane resin containing hydroxyl groups, which can react with isocyanates to form dual-cure coatings. It provides good adhesion on inorganic glass, metals, and various substrates including PC, ABS, PMMA, paper, leather, and synthetic leather, while offering excellent leveling, long-lasting stain resistance, and versatility as either a UV coating modifier or the main resin in dual-cure UV formulations.

Applications

Dual-cure UV varnishes and anti-graffiti UV coatings and adhesives for various plastics, dual-cure UV inks, protective inks for mobile phone glass, dual-cure UV coatings for automotive interiors, and functional films with hardness enhancement.

Storage Conditions

To prevent polymerization or gelation caused by the high reactivity of this product, keep the container tightly sealed and store it away from heat sources and direct sunlight. The recommended storage temperature is below 30 °C. Reseal the container promptly after each use; do not leave it open to the air. Under normal conditions (25 °C, well-ventilated environment), the product remains stable for up to 6 months.20 KG / 200 KG per drum.

Tips: L-8466 offers excellent leveling and fullness, with superior stain resistance. A curing agent can be added during application if desired.
