Description

TS-90 s a 100% solid thermoplastic acrylic resin in the form of small white powder particles. Like other thermoplastic acrylic resins, this product is self-drying. It offers good adhesion, excellent hardness, and outstanding outdoor durability. It is mainly used in UV primers, vinyl topcoats, nitrocellulose coatings, plastic coatings, and PVC leather treatments.

Reference Formula

First disperse at high speed (2500-3000 rpm) for 40-50 minutes,raising the solution temperature to 50–60°C

During dispersion, ensure the dispersion tank is securely fixed to prevent splashing or spillage in case of a sudden increase in viscosity

Stir at medium speed, add the remaining solvent, and wash down any solids adhering to the tank walls

Then disperse at 2000–2500 rpm for 20–30 minutes

Check the fineness of the dispersion and continue until acceptable. Add volatile solvent as needed.

Applications

Mainly used as the primary resin for UV primers, coatings for automobile body surfaces, and various types of coatings. Applicable for plastic coatings (ABS, PS, PC, etc.), PVC steel sheet primers, sandwich steel panels, household plastic appliances, PC plastic products, wheels, and ABS copolymers.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 40kg per drum
