Description

Lencolo 1241 is a 100% active polymeric dispersing and viscosity-reducing agent. Its polymer chains contain special functional groups that adsorb onto pigment surfaces, enhancing wetting and encapsulation. This improves pigment dispersion and stability in inks and coatings. Similar to organic salt groups, it is also effective for dispersing and reducing viscosity of inorganic pigments such as matting powders, without increasing gloss in matte systems. It is widely used in solvent-free, UV ink, solvent-based coating, and UV coating systems.

Recommended Usage

Before use, this product should be dissolved in a solvent or a resin solution for grinding. It can also be dispersed with UV monomers before adding pigments for dispersion and grinding.

Addition amount:

Titanium dioxide 2-5% Carbon black 10-25% High-Surface-Area Carbon Black 40-80%

Inorganic pigment 5-10% Organic pigment10-20% Silicon Dioxide (SiO₂) 5-10%

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25kg per bag.

Tips: Lencolo 1241 has excellent high-temperature resistance, maintaining its dispersing performance even during high-temperature pigment grinding.
