Description

Lencolo 8920W It is a liquid rheological additive used in water-based paints and pigment concentrates. Through selective incompatibility with the paint system, it produces fine, needle-like crystals at an appropriate stirring speed, and forms a three-dimensional structure through the bonding force between crystals. The network structure provides a strong thixotropy for the system, which also provides excellent anti-settling and anti-sag performance. When the paint is stored, Lencolo 8920W uses a three-dimensional network structure to support each pigment component, effectively preventing the pigment and filler from settling, and at the same time, the viscosity increases. During construction, due to a certain shear force given to the system, the network structure of Lencolo 8920W is destroyed, and the viscosity drops rapidly, meeting the construction requirements. This network builds up within seconds when the shear force is removed, preventing sagging of the paint film. It is a liquid, easy to add or post-add, with good anti-sag performance and less dosage.

Usage

Adding it before the dispersion stage of pigments and fillers can ensure good dispersion, so as to obtain the best reproducibility of construction performance. It can also be post-added for later viscosity adjustment

Addition amount: anti-settling effect 0.1-0.3% anti-sag 0.5-1.2%

Precautions

Co-grind or pigment concentrates (incorporated into the mill base), the additive must be added to the mill base last and dispersed under typical milling conditions.

The additives can be pre-diluted with ethylene glycol solvents. Pre-dilution helps to add more uniformly. However, the storage stability of pre-diluted additives is limited and needs to be used immediately.

Storage, shelf time and Packing

To prevent the product from polymerization and gelling, please keep it sealed and away from heat and light. Recommended storage temperature is not higher than 30°C. Unused products must be sealed and stored in a timely manner and cannot be stored in the open. Safe storage time is 6 months at room temperature( 25ºC) and under ventilation. 25KG/barrell.
