Description

Lencolo 8905is a solvent-based liquid rheology additive that is easy to use. It is suitable for anti-settling and anti-sagging applications in solvent-based coating systems containing fumed silica based on polyester, acrylic, and alkyd resins, as well as in 100% UV systems. When added post-addition, it provides improved thixotropy to the base resin, and resin systems that are already thixotropic can also achieve further enhancement in thixotropic properties.

Storage Conditions

For fumed silica: 10–30 wt% (based on silica)

For the total coating: 0.2–0.5 wt% (on total formulation)

Precautions

Slight separation or haze may occur during storage and transportation; mix well before use. Product performance will not be affected.

Store at 0–25 °C.

Recommended Usage

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
