Lencolo 8900 The fatty acid amide wax is pre-swelled in xylene to form a paste-like thixotropic agent, which can be used in a wide range of mediums such as low and medium polarity. At the same time, its swelling structure has very strong strength, good heat resistance and time stability. Since it is a fully swollen paste, it can be easily dispersed by stirring at room temperature and exerts its excellent anti-settling and anti-sagging properties. Therefore, it exhibits excellent effects in preventing the sedimentation of aluminum and pearl mica in automotive paints and improving orientation.

Application

It can be used in almost all solvent-based synthetic resin coatings, especially automotive paint and automotive refinish paint, such as: epoxy resin, epoxy resin, polyurethane resin, chlorinated rubber, vinyl resin, unsaturated polyester resin, acrylic resin and paint etc. Systems such as acrylic/melamine coatings for automotive topcoats, etc. It can also be used in UV curing system.

Usage

High-speed dispersing machines are more suitable for direct dispersing.

When used as an anti-sedimentation agent, the addition amount: 0.5-2.0%. When using the anti-sagging agent, the dosage: 1.0～5.0%

In order to have advantages such as good dispersibility or rationalization of engineering, it is more convenient to use, and it can be made into a semi-finished product first.

Semi-finished product: Resin in the formula 25 xylene or toluene 50 Lencolo 8900 25 High-speed dispersion for 15 minutes can be used.

Or directly disperse with xylene at high speed.

Storage, shelf time and Packing

To prevent the product from polymerization and gelling, please keep it sealed and away from heat and light. Recommended storage temperature is not higher than 30°C. Unused products must be sealed and stored in a timely manner and cannot be stored in the open. Safe storage time is 6 months at room temperature( 25ºC) and under ventilation. 16KG/barrel
