Lencolo 8531 benzophenone light stabilizer widely used in polymers and other organic substances, offering excellent high-efficiency anti-aging performance. Absorbs ultraviolet light in the 240–340 nm range. Soluble in acetone, benzene, ethanol, and isopropanol.

Applications

Used in polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, unsaturated resin, ABS resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, polyurethane, polycarbonate, paraffin, rubber, etc. Used in alkyd varnishes, polyurethanes, acrylics, epoxies and others, as well as automotive refinish paints, powder coatings, etc., providing them with good light stabilization effects.

Recommended Usage

The product can be added at various stages, and it can be dispersed evenly after adding. Acetone (approximately 1:1) Add after dissolving.

The recommended addition amount of this product is 0.1-1.0% (based on the total formulation), and it can be used alone or in combination with other light stabilizers.

It is recommended that users determine the optimal dosage through preliminary testing before use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
