Lencolo 4021 is a special amino-functional silane polymer that can enhance the adhesion of coatings to glass and metal substrates, thereby improving the water resistance and salt-spray resistance of the coating film.

Recommended Usage

Dosage: Add 1–2% based on the solid content of the resin, added at the end of the formulation.

For epoxy systems, it can be incorporated into the curing agent.

Precautions

1. This product may react with isocyanate and phenolic-amine curing agents. Conduct small-scale trials to confirm system compatibility and avoid gelling.

2. For epoxy coating systems, it should be added to the curing agent. Conduct small-scale trials to verify the proper dosage and compatibility.

3. This product contains amino groups; prolonged storage may darken its color but does not affect performance.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
