Lencolo 4020 is a special amino-functional silane polymer that enhances the adhesion of coatings to glass and metal substrates, thereby improving the water resistance, salt spray resistance, and overall durability of the coating.

Recommended Usage

Dosage: Add 1–2% based on the solid content of the resin, added afterwards. For epoxy systems, it can be added to the curing agent.

Precautions

1.This product may react with isocyanate or phenolic-amine curing agents. Conduct a small-scale trial to confirm system compatibility and avoid gelling.

2.When used in epoxy coating systems, it should be added to the curing agent. Perform a small-scale trial to confirm the appropriate dosage and compatibility.

3.This product contains amine groups; prolonged storage may cause darkening of the color, but performance is not affected.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum

Tips: Lencolo 4020 has good adhesion to glass. It has better stability than 4021 when 4020 added to the curing agent.
