Lencolo 4003 is a special epoxy-modified polymer that enhances coating adhesion to inorganic substrates (such as glass, ceramics, minerals, etc.) as well as to metal substrates.

It is a novel adhesion promoter that significantly improves the bonding performance of inorganic surfaces, thereby greatly enhancing coating adhesion.

It has broad compatibility and can simultaneously improve the mechanical and chemical resistance properties of the coating.

It enhances the adhesion and salt-spray corrosion resistance of epoxy resins, increasing the coating’s bonding strength to inorganic substrates (such as glass, ceramics, minerals, etc.) as well as to metal substrates.

Applications

For coatings and inks; epoxy, alkyd, polyurethane and acrylic systems, water-based glass baking paint.

Recommended Usage

Can be used as a standalone primer or added directly into the paint.

Adding amount: 1%-5% of total formulation.

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
