Lencolo 3184 is a polyether-modified polysiloxane leveling agent, especially suitable for solvent-based or two-component systems. It enhances substrate wetting and provides defoaming activity, making it particularly ideal for leveling in epoxy floor coatings.

It exhibits excellent compatibility, substrate wetting, and leveling in solvent-based systems, effectively preventing pinholes and fisheyes. It is highly compatible with most binders, causing no cloudiness in clear coats or haze in color coatings. The product has very high surface activity and provides some defoaming performance.

Applications

Suitable for solvent-based coatings such as wood and furniture coatings, polyurethane coatings, and epoxy coatings, with particular effectiveness for leveling in epoxy floor coatings.

Recommended Usage

Dosage: 0.1–0.5% by weight of the total formulation.

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
