Description

Lencolo 3160 is a specially modified acrylic polymer that increases coating surface tension to improve adhesion across various coatings, inks, adhesives, and composite films, as well as intercoat adhesion. It is highly compatible with a wide range of resins, offering excellent substrate wetting, leveling, and anti-pinhole performance, while minimizing foam and not affecting recoating. Suitable for waterborne coatings, printing inks, UV clear varnishes, and various solvent-based coatings.

Recommended Usage

It can be added at any stage in the production process, generally 0.2%-3% based on the total coating weight.

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum

Tips: Lencolo 3160 is especially suitable for UV varnishes and UV ink systems requiring hot-stamping or screen printing, as well as for waterborne and solvent-based coating systems.
