Description

Lencolo 3110 is a polyester-modified polydimethylsiloxane solution that reduces the surface tension of coating systems, improves substrate wetting, prevents pinholes, enhances surface slip and gloss, and improves leveling.

Product Features

It is a a heat-resistant silicone-based additive that does not thermally decompose between 150–230 °C. When recoating in baked systems, it does not cause loss of adhesion or surface defects. It strongly enhances surface slip and substrate wetting. Especially recommended as a preferred leveling additive in baked coatings, it also provides anti-pinhole functionality.

Applications

Baked paint coatings, coil coatings, especially suitable for baked paint systems.

Recommended Usage

Dsage: 0.05% ~ 0.3% of total formulation

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
