Description

Lencolo 3106 is a polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane solution that reduces the surface tension of coating systems, improves substrate wetting, prevents pinholes, enhances surface slip and gloss, and improves leveling.

Performance

It is a highly effective silicone-based additive used to improve wetting on difficult-to-wet substrates, enhance tolerance to dust and overspray, and allow for thicker films on vertical surfaces. It also reduces sensitivity of wood and furniture coatings to air flow and can improve the orientation of matting powders. Additionally, it enhances surface slip and gloss and improves leveling.

Applications

Solvent-based coatings such as wood coatings and plastic coatings.

Usage

Dosage: 0.1 – 0.5% based on total formulation.

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use.

Storage

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum
