Description

Lencolo 3102 is an aryl-alkyl modified polymethylalkylsiloxane solution that reduces the surface tension of coating systems, improves flow and leveling, and provides defoaming functionality. It also helps prevent the formation of Bénard convection cells. In matte systems, it enhances the orientation of matting powders.

It improves flow and leveling while providing defoaming functionality. It is heat-resistant up to 250 °C, allows recoating without affecting intercoat adhesion, and can also be used as an orientation aid for matting powders.

Recommended Usage

Dosage: 0.1–0.4% based on total formulation

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum

Tips: Lencolo 3102 is particularly suitable for UV matte systems, PU matte systems, and screen-printing UV inks.
