Description

Lencolo 1190W deflocculates pigments through steric hindrance. The resulting finely dispersed pigment particles provide high gloss and enhanced color strength. It also increases transparency and hiding power, reduces viscosity to improve flow and leveling, and allows higher pigment loading.

It prevents floating and streaking in coatings, provides excellent pigment wetting, reduces viscosity to improve flow and leveling, and allows higher pigment loading. Mainly used in waterborne coating systems and resin-free pigment concentrates.

Applications

For waterborne coating systems, resin-free pigment concentrates, and various water-based coatings as a wetting and dispersing agent.

Recommended Usage

For optimal performance, it is recommended that the pigment paste system contains only pigment, Lencolo 1190W, and water (no resins, amines, or co-solvents) to achieve the best results. During paste preparation, mix the additive thoroughly with water first, then add the pigment after the additive is fully dispersed.

The dosage largely depends on the specific surface area of the pigment; it is recommended to determine the optimal amount experimentally.

Adding amount: Inorganic pigments: 20–30% Titanium dioxide (TiO₂): 10–12% by weight

Organic pigments: 30–75% Carbon black: 70–130%

Storage Conditions

To prevent the product from polymerization and gelling, please keep it sealed and away from heat and light. Recommended storage temperature is not higher than 30°C. Unused products must be sealed and stored in a timely manner and cannot be stored in the open. Safe storage time is 6 months at room temperature( 25ºC) and under ventilation. 25KG/barrel
