Description

Lencolo 1104 is a high–molecular-weight copolymer containing pigment-affinitive functional groups. It disperses pigments effectively through steric hindrance, preventing flocculation. By imparting uniform surface charge to pigments of different polarities, it avoids potential co-flocculation. The resulting finely dispersed pigment particles deliver higher gloss, improved color strength, enhanced transparency and hiding power, as well as lower viscosity, better leveling, and increased pigment loading.

Low polarity, primarily used in the production of various solvent-based coatings and pigment concentrates. Exhibits good compatibility with a wide range of binders and is suitable for grinding color pastes in various solvent-based systems.

Recommended Usage

Addition Level:

Titanium dioxide 3-4%    Carbon black 60-70%

Inorganic pigment 12-15%     Organic pigment 20-35%

Users are advised to determine the optimal dosage through trials prior to use

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 25 kg per drum.

Tips: Lencolo 1104 is a high-end dispersing agent with better performance than Lencolo 1103. It offers strong versatility and can be used as a one-to-one replacement for imported products.
