L-1200A is an OH-functional acrylic copolymer that can be combined at room temperature with non-yellowing polyisocyanates to produce a two-component system with excellent application properties, good aluminum flake orientation, and outstanding compatibility. It is particularly suitable for use in two-component metallic coatings and pearlescent coatings, while also offering excellent physical properties and pigment dispersibility, and can be used for solid color paints as well.

Product Features
Excellent adhesion to various substrates such as ABS, PC, PC+GF, PA, PA+GF, PMMA, fiberglass, TPU, as well as stainless steel, tinplate, aluminum alloy, zinc alloy, magnesium alloy, and copper.
Good compatibility with CAB, ensuring excellent aluminum (silver) pigment orientation, strong interlayer adhesion, and excellent pigment dispersion.
Shows excellent recoating performance — even after two recoats followed by UV or PU topcoat and boiling-water testing, adhesion remains outstanding.
Exhibits excellent chemical resistance and can withstand boiling at 100 °C for 2 hours without loss of adhesion.

Storage Conditions
To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 20 kg / 200 kg per drum
Tip: L-1200A is mainly used as a primer, and its adhesion to various metal substrates such as aluminum and stainless steel is much better than L-1201.
