Lencolo 5006 A versatile, high-efficiency, low-yellowing photoinitiator. It is suitable for polymerization of unsaturated prepolymers such as acrylates, in combination with mono- or multifunctional vinyl monomers.

Applications

Suitable for light-curing varnish systems, such as plastic and metal topcoat varnishes, white wood varnishes,

white paper varnishes.

It can also be used as an auxiliary photoinitiator in UV printing inks.

It may be used together with other photoinitiators, and when required, can be combined with UV absorbers.

Recommended Usage

Solubility (20 ºC, g/100g)

Addition amount: 2~4% for film thickness 5~20mm; 1~3% for film thickness 2~200mm

It is recommended that users determine the optimal dosage through preliminary testing before use.

Storage Conditions

To prevent premature polymerization due to the high reactivity of this product, keep it tightly sealed and store away from heat sources and direct sunlight. It is recommended to maintain storage temperature below 30 °C. Unused product should be promptly resealed and must not be left open. Under ventilated conditions at 25 °C, the product has a safe storage period of 6 months. Available packaging: 20 kg per bag.

Tips: Lencolo 5006 is one of the most commonly used photoinitiators, featuring good anti-yellowing performance and good surface cure.
