Description

Lencolo 8531 benzophenone light stabilizer widely used in polymers and other organic substances, with excellent and efficient anti-aging function. Can absorb 240-340nm ultraviolet rays. Soluble in acetone, benzene, ethanol, isopropanol.

It helps to delay the yellowing of polymers, improve the anti-aging and anti-oxidation functions of materials, and retard the loss of physical properties.

Application

Used in polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, unsaturated resin, ABS resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, polyurethane, polycarbonate, paraffin, rubber, etc. Used in alkyd varnishes, polyurethanes, acrylics, epoxies and others, as well as automotive refinish paints, powder coatings, etc., providing them with good light stabilization effects.

Usage

The product can be added at various stages, and it can be dispersed evenly after adding. Acetone (approximately 1:1) Add after dissolving.

The recommended addition amount of this product is 0.1-1.0% (based on the total formulation), and it can be used alone or in combination with other light stabilizers.

It is recommended to experiment before use to determine the best usage and dosage.

Storage, shelf time and Packing

To prevent the product from polymerization and gelling, please keep it sealed and away from heat and light. Recommended storage temperature is not higher than 30°C. Unused products must be sealed and stored in a timely manner and cannot be stored in the open. Safe storage time is 6 months at room temperature( 25ºC) and under ventilation. 25KG/barrel.

Tips: Lencolo 8531 is specially used as UV absorber in coatings, universal in water-based and oil-based systems.
